DirectPay partners PayMate for mobile payment services in India

DirectPay, a bank-neutral payment gateway solution from India-based online money transfer services developer TimesofMoney has entered an agreement with mobile payment services provider PayMate to provide merchants across India with a mobile payment facility.

The initiative is part of DirecPays strategy to expand the number of payment methods it supports, including credit cards, debit cards and online banking through over 20 banks. Via its wireless transactions platform, PayMate offers SMS based payment service, which allows customers to use their mobile phones as their credit or debit card to make payments online, over the phone or across the counter.
