Tuesday 5 October 2010 10:28 CET | News

US financial institution NavyArmy Federal Credit Union has selected US integrated self-service delivery and security systems company Diebold for the implementation of the MobiTransact platform.

Via the MobiTransact mobile platform, NavyArmy will be able to provide its customers with immediate access to their accounts, without requiring an online banking account. With the new m-banking service, users will be able to interact directly with their financial institution in order to carry out a series of activities such as balance transfers, bill payments or locating ATMs and branches.

In addition to the MobiTransact solution, NavyArmys managed service agreement also includes software upgrades, first- and second-line maintenance, cash handling and assistance with regulatory compliance. The agreement also includes the implementation of Diebold’s Agilis Campaign Office software for marketing at the ATM terminal.

Recently, Turkish financial services provider Vakifbank has signed a contract with Diebold in order to upgrade its ATM network.
