Under the deal, CorFire and OLO are set to collaborate and create mobile applications that allow the company to move beyond mobile and online ordering and into more advanced mobile commerce functionalities. This includes enhanced ordering and payment transactions, the ability to distribute promotional and loyalty driving offers, social sharing and mobile gift cards sales.
OLO’s digital point-of-sale platform allows multi-unit restaurant chains, mainly in the quick service category, to offer mobile and online ordering. Using the OLO platform restaurant chains can update menus, menu items and pricing across their entire network or at selected locations.
