Cingular has been using Qpass’ Prosperity Series software for more than three years as the platform supporting the popular DirectBill service, which provides Cingular mobile users with access to thousands of ringtones, graphics, games, and other premium services. The DirectBill service has achieved more than 1,000 percent increase in monthly revenue in the past 12 months. Utilizing Qpass software, Cingular is able to streamline the launch and management of all types of premium services. Prosperity Series includes standard connectors for most prepaid and postpaid billing systems, as well as for payment via credit and debit cards. The software also enables the rapid integration and management of multiple third-party content providers. New providers and products can be easily integrated into Cingular’s business systems in just hours, rather than days or several weeks. Prosperity Series enables quick implementation of Cingular’s business rules, including those governing settlement, revenue distribution and payment methods. Via DirectBill, Cingular subscribers can efficiently purchase products from their personal computer or directly from their mobile phones.
