Camelot partners Barclays to accept National Lottery mobile payments

The National Lottery operatored by Camelot has teamed up with financial institution Barclays to enable players to purchase games via their mobile phone through its Pingit app from July 2015.

Six in every ten visits to the National Lottery website now originate from mobile devices with those people now able to purchase Lotto, Thunderball and EuroMillions by Lucky Dip via the Pingit app or by scanning a QR code.

Winnings of up to GBP 50,000 will be accepted to their account which is open to anyone, not solely Barclays Bank customers.
