Monday 21 October 2013 00:12 CET | News

Caché, a nationwide, mall-based integrated lifestyle women’s apparel retailer, has selected French-based provider of payment services Ingenico to modernize the former’s in-store payment acceptance and customer checkout experience.

The Ingenico iSC 350 Signature Capture point-of-sale (POS) device has been designed to support retailer’s payment service with a large color display and an enhanced secure processor. Combined with Cachés applications such as loyalty or promotions, Ingenico provides Caché with multi-media brand building functionalities and acceptance of other forms of payment, which extends consumers’ payment choices at checkout, including EMV chip cards, contactless and NFC-based mobile payments.

Ingenico and Caché have already deployed approximately 400 iSC350 devices throughout the latter’s 250 stores in the US.

In recent news, Ingenico has inked a partnership agreement with Ingogo, an Australian taxi services platform, to provide taxi drivers with an integrated mobility payment service.
