Barclays to launch mobile banking service in Zimbabwe

Barclays Zimbabwe, a subsidiary of UK financial services company Barclays, is set to launch its mobile banking application dubbed Hello Money in Zimbabwe.

Hello Money is set to allow Barclays account holders to transfer money to a Barclays account or to an account at another banking institution, airtime top up, mini statements and balance enquiries.

Barclays mobile services in Africa are provided by Cellulant, a Kenyan mobile commerce services provider.

In recent news, Barclays Tanzania has launched its online banking, tabloid banking and mobile banking functionality.
