US telecommunications services provider AT&T has extended the agreement with financial services technology company Fiserv to provide the latter’s CheckFreePay walk-in bill payment service to 13 additional states for AT&T wireline customers.

With this agreement, AT&T customers will have the option to pay their Wireline, Long Distance, Mobility and U-verse bills in person using cash, cheques or money orders at any local CheckFreePay agent. Payment transactions made at a walk-in bill payment location are processed to AT&T via the electronic payment network provided by Fiserv and payments are credited to the customer’s account in real time. A receipt is provided as proof of payment.

In recent news, US financial institution Intracoastal Bank has selected Fiserv for the latter’s digital services.
