Reporo is working closely with retailers to help them demonstrate to their customers the value of a convenient, portable and simple way to shop using a mobile phone. Users simply sign up to the service, download Reporo to their mobile phone and then click on the Reporo icon to view the list of Reporo stores. To pay for items in their shopping basket, users type in a secure four-digit PIN number, chosen during the sign-up process, to authorise the transaction. Integrating an existing retail internet site with Reporo is simple and straightforward. Retailers simply need to supply a current catalogue, pricing and images in an electronic format, which are then customised by Reporo so the store can be displayed on a mobile phone or handset - a similar procedure to working with price-comparison engines on the internet. Reporo is non disruptive to existing ordering and payment functions and allows customers to use existing credit and debit card details and store multiple delivery addresses. Retailers pay a sales commission to Reporo for any purchases made using the service, in line with existing affiliate marketing rates. Retailers can be up and running with Reporo in a matter of hours.
