Netherlands-based global payment services company Adyen has become a partner of NFC&ContactlessXL, a pan-European accelerator for Near Field Communication (NFC) and Contactless Interactions organised by Startupbootcamp Amsterdam.

The new accelerator will start on 14 October 2013. Similar to the regular Startupbootcamp, the NFC program will offer ten start-ups the opportunity to launch their company. They will receive EUR 15.000 in seed funding, a free workplace, a sponsor package and coaching by first-class mentors.

Startupbootcamp Amsterdam is Europe’s accelerator to coach 20 start-ups within the space of just one year.

In recent news, Adyen has been awarded with the Customer Choice Award for the “Best E-Commerce Platform/Gateway” and the Judge’s Choice Award for the “Best Overall Fraud/ Security Solution” at the second annual CNP Awards.
