In order to be able to provide optimal services to its clients on location, 3united is opening subsidiaries in Zagreb (Croatia), Brno (Czech Republic), and St. Petersburg (Russia). These subsidiaries will contribute to further establishing 3united as a know-how centre for the Eastern European mobile-telephone market. There is a huge demand for premium SMS connectivity and for mobile solutions like mobile ticketing, cell-phone styling, mobile gaming, and community services (dating, chats) in these boosting markets. Last year already, 3united increasingly focused on its expansion in the Central and Eastern European markets. By setting up a special high-performance IT centre in Austria and by being directly connected to Central and Eastern European providers, 3united has made the transmission and the cross-border billing of premium SMS possible. Thus, the Austrian company makes it possible for its internationally operating clients to market their mobile contents directly and to enter new markets more rapidly and with little technical and financial effort. At present, 3united is reaching more than 370 billion mobile-phone clients in Russia, Bulgaria, Croatia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Poland, the Czech Republic, Romania, and Hungary with its SMS connections and services.
