Mauritian MPCB bank launches internet, SMS banking

 E-Banking allows users to view transactions details, transfer funds from one account to another, making a fund transfer to a different bank account, to pay the bills online and even to ask for a new cheque-book or to block the payment of a cheque (Cheque Book request, Account Opening request, Office Cheque request). Via SMS banking, users will be able to check their balance, see last 10 transactions, stop cheque request, transfer funds between self accounts and to a third party account within the bank and pay bills. Before every transaction, users of both services are authenticated via two-factor authentication which requires a login name and a password. Users will be able to change their passwords via SMS every two months.
