Friday 2 July 2021 12:16 CET | News

Zalando has launched its online store and platform in Lithuania, Slovakia, and Slovenia.

According to Ecommerce News Europe, the new expansion in Eastern Europe might bring the company closer to its goal of being the starting point for fashion in Europe.

Moreover, thanks to the initiative, brands and retailers that already sell their products internationally via the Zalando platform will be able to connect with customers in these three markets. On the other hand, local brands from Lithuania, Slovakia, and Slovenia can apply to join Zalando’s partner programme if they want to use the platform to sell their products online across Europe.

Additionally, Zalando also revealed it has plans to further expand. Therefore, the company will open its platform to customers in Croatia, Estonia, and Latvia in 2021, while it will also expand to Hungary and Romania in 2022, Ecommerce News Europe reported.
