With a new fast-growing segment of ‘Click-and-Mortar’ shoppers who rely on digital features to shop both online and in-store, merchants are managing complex technology as they work to provide consistent payment experiences. Visa is offering sellers expansive, simplified services to keep pace with those demands.

Officials from Visa said the payments sector has made significant strides in simplifying the consumer shopping experience. In doing so, the payments ecosystem has become more complex and fragmented for sellers -- but it doesn’t have to be this way. Visa Acceptance Solutions allows businesses worldwide to offer their customers augmented payment options without over-indexing on complexity for themselves.

Visa support merchants with improved commerce experiences including:

  • Enhanced partner access and integration: Introducing Developer Assist, an AI-driven tool within Visa Acceptance Platform, which aids in crafting intricate payment processes, supports testing, certification inquiries, and provides sample code suggestions. With over 450 PSPs and 100 ISVs, the platform caters to 450,000 merchants monthly across 160 countries, spanning 50 currencies;

  • A reimagined small and medium-sized (SMB) business platform: Authorize.net has revamped its user interface (UI), bringing data and streamlined day-to-day business operations to the forefront. The new UI has benefits for both partners and merchants across new dashboards, workspaces, and smart search functionalities;

  • Expanding mobile payment adoption effortlessly: Tap to Phone enables contactless payments via certified smartphones, active in 121 countries with 6.7 million terminals and over USD 8.5 billion in annual payment volume. Visa innovatively employs Tap to Phone's contactless technology, exemplified by a recent Latin America and Caribbean pilot enabling consumers to tap cards on their own devices for online purchases.
