Tourneau launches e-commerce website using MICROS-Retail Open Commerce Platform

Tourneau, a US-based watch retailer, has rolled out its e-commerce platform, Tourneau.com, via MICROS-Retail Open Commerce Platform.

The newly launched website acts as a showcase for Tourneau timepieces and allows customers to view details from inner-workings of the pieces. In addition, clients will also be able to schedule service appointments online or have their timepiece delivered directly at the store.

The Open Commerce Platform, which is a Java-based commerce framework, and t is part of the Micros-Retail’s suite which also includes Micros-Retail’s order management system.

Enterprise applications provider Micros Retail, a division of Micro Systems, is a developer of software services which provide cross-channel functionality to retailers and direct marketers. The company focuses on areas such as e-commerce, retail and direct commerce technologies.
