According to Ecommerce News Europe, the new launch marks the fourteenth country where the ecommerce company is present. Thanks to the initiative, US-based consumers can buy over 5.5 million items from more than 40,000 brands through the separate online store us.wildberries.ru or through the mobile app. Wildberries features all kinds of products, from clothing and beauty products to consumer electronics and books.
The company was founded in 2004, and in 2020 it managed to increase its sales outside of Russia by 95% to over EUR 261 million. Among foreign customers the most popular items are clothing, beauty, books and shoes, Ecommerce News Europe stated.
