Plymouth Citybus partners SecureTrading to offer online ticket acquisition

Wednesday 2 November 2011 15:03 CET | News

UK bus operator Plymouth Citybus has partnered SecureTrading, an online payment processor, to enable passengers to buy tickets in advance through the company’s website.

The website, developed by web design agency Imaginet, accepts debit and credit cards and enables all Plymouth Citybus customers to make online purchases.

Customers will be able to buy tickets online by activating their individual key smartcard which will be afterwards swiped on the bus’s smartcard reader. Passengers will be able to purchase season tickets, multi-buys, day returns and other travel options.

In recent news, SecureTrading has been selected by CES, an automotive parts supplier, to enable its customers to carry out online payments on its two new websites.
