Monday 5 July 2021 15:09 CET | News

India-based digital payments company PhonePe has partnered with Flipkart to launch contactless scan and pay for Flipkart’s cash-on-delivery orders.

PhonePe’s QR code solution will now enable customers who earlier opted for cash on delivery to pay digitally through  any UPI app at the time of delivery. This is intended to help reduce personal contact while ensuring safety, and drive contactless payments for customers who are traditionally more comfortable with cash on delivery.

PhonePe is an Indian digital payments and financial services company headquartered in Bangalore, India. The PhonePe app, based on the Unified Payments Interface (UPI), is available in over 11 Indian languages. Using PhonePe, users can send and receive money, recharge mobile, DTH, data cards, make utility payments, pay at shops, invest in tax saving funds, liquid Funds, buy insurance and mutual funds and gold. In addition PhonePe also allows users to book Ola rides, pay for Redbus tickets, and book flights and hotels on Goibibo through the Switch platform.
