Morris, which combines point-of-sale (POS), inventory, order and customer management with integrated payment processing in a single solution, is now able to provide merchants an e-commerce feature, delivering a buying experience to customers across physical and virtual channels.
The new e-commerce option will:• Help retailers establish their online stores web presence from the ground up, using one of several pre-defined themes (or fully customize their Morris hosted website using custom CSS and JavaScript);• Enable merchants to sell their inventory online through a shopping cart with secure payment capabilities. Merchants with a retail storefront will share inventory data in-store and online, using a single system and streamlining their operations;• Allow merchants to specify shipping options, set up online promotions and create reports based on each sales channel.
Moneris provides credit, debit, wireless and online payment services via more than 350,000 merchant locations and processes more than 2 billion transactions annually. Via its Ernex division, Moneris offers electronic loyalty and gift card programs. SecureBuy is a wholly own subsidiary of SignatureLink, a US electronic signatures provider.
