This alliance will allow Technion’s researchers to develop the scientific understanding and technologies that will lead to new services in the area of electronic commerce. Further research in artificial intelligence, computer science, economy, psychology and their application in e-commerce will be conducted. Microsoft hopes that these results will also lead to the launch of new products in five to ten years.
The project will be conducted by Prof. Moshe Tennenholtz of the William Davidson Faculty of Industrial Engineering and Management.
The Microsoft Research division was created in 1991 for developing various computer science ideas and integrating them into Microsoft products.
