India-based e-commerce retailer Indiaplaza.in has raised USD 5 million in funding round from NEA-IndoUS, a venture capital fund.

Indiaplaza.in hosts around 8 million products and has 1.5 million customers in India. The major investor in the company is the Indigo Monsoon Group (IMG), an investment firm which focuses on internet, mobile and technology start-ups.

In 2007, e-commerce venture Fabmall acquired US based Indiaplaza, which was targeting the Non-Resident Indian (NRI) segment with Indian products. After the acquisition Fabmall was renamed Indiaplaza.in and the integrated business started operations in India and the US.
