According to Livemint, the partnership will enable Easybuy to sell specially curated inventory and online-only brands on Amazon. Besides, there are plans for the next six months to bring the entire offline collection online through a store fulfilment programme.
Easybuy was started in 2017 by Dubai-based Landmark Group to sell fashion to India’s value-conscious shoppers and has close to 100 stores in India. Moreover, Landmark Group also owns value retailer Max in India, apart from Lifestyle department stores and Home Centre.
Overall, the partnership will help retailers to respond to consumers’ demands, as more and more shoppers from India's smaller cities need support, due to a lack of large brands and organised retail chains in those cities. A shift to the online environment will facilitate the overall shopping experience.
