The newly launched feature, which is a “Places” tab, allows users to search and explore their local merchant communities, informing them who takes Dwolla and who doesnt. A “Want” button inside the “Places” tab has also been added to provide users with a social tool to communicate their interest in paying with Dwolla to perspective merchants.
Every venue and location listed in Places also has its own public page to help them get visibility among Dwolla users. For non-Dwolla merchants, it provides people a platform to kickoff recruitment campaigns and track the number of requests made to the merchant.
Dwolla provides a platform which allows users to send, receive and request funds from any other user. In recent news, Dwolla has inked a contract with US-based financial services provider Veridian Credit Union.
