Croatia to launch NFC tech for online customer reviews

Monday 27 July 2020 12:46 CET | News

Review Booster Pro, a payments platfom based in Croatia, has launched NFC to facilitate on-the-spot reviews for businesses in the country

Their solution was to employ NFC - Near Field Communication, the technology you use to pay contactless with credit cards. All newer mobile phones are fitted with this technology. Businesses signed up to Review Booster Pro have RBP boards, which they present to customers after their experience – for instance, while they are waiting for your restaurant bill.

Users wave their phone over the board, the phone's operating system reads the chip, their web browser opens automatically and takes them to the RBP landing page of the business they're in. They then select which of the platforms they're already signed up to - Trip Advisor, Google, Facebook etc. - and leave their rating or review.
