Club Factory raises USD 100 mln for cross-border ecommerce site

Club Factory, a China-based cross-border ecommerce company, has raised USD 100 million in Series D led by Qiming Venture Partners.

According to The Economic Times of India, the round also included participation from Frees Fund, Bertelsmann Asia Investments, Bertelsmann, IDG Capital and others.

Club Factory offers local sellers 0% commission marketplace platform; any legally qualified Indian seller can sell on Club Factory. In addition, the marketplace allows direct contact between buyers and sellers through an application.

Moreover, the platform lets customers shop directly from factories it finds with its big data technology.
