As part of the integration, Cardinal merchants will be able to connect to internet and mobile application providers for the distribution of digital promotions redeemable via the existing merchants online checkout process.
The Adility platform is merchant focused and provides merchant controlled online distribution and management of promotions which include coupons, prepaid offers and inventory. Merchants can define geographic regions for the distribution, limit the promotions to select times and set any other attributes to define rules for a promotion.
Additionally, they can then distribute these promotions across internal social media channels like Twitter or Facebook, via email, on their own website or choose third party distribution via mobile and web applications, as well as online advertising networks.
In recent news, CardinalCommerce has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with electronic payment processing firm Global Switch, to integrate the latter with Cardinal’s technologies and enable e-commerce merchants in Africa to accept 3D authentication services and alternative payments.
