Zuora gathers USD 20 million in Series C financing round

Zuora, a US provider of online subscription billing and payment services, has raised USD 20 million in a Series C round of funding, bringing the total amount raised to USD 41.5 million.

The financing session has been led by US venture capital company Redpoint Ventures in partnership with existing investors, including Benchmark Capital, Shasta Ventures and Tenaya Capital. With the capital gathered in the latest funding round the company plans to extend the reach of its services across new markets such as the US and EMEA. Moreover, the additional funds will enable Zuora to expand its portfolio of industry-specific services in order to meet the growing enterprise demand for subscription billing solutions.

Zuora’s portfolio includes subscription billing services such as Z-Billing, Z-Payments, Z-Force, Z-Commerce, Z-Commerce for Media, Z-Commerce for the Cloud and Z-Commerce for the Cloud VMware Edition.
