Email billing technology company Transactis and US-based provider of SaaS electronic invoice presentment and payment (EIPP) services Data Impact have completed a merger agreement.

Under the deal, the two companies are expected to combine their suites of B2B and B2C presentment and payment services for billers and the banks that serve them. Additionally, both organizations’ customers can leverage Transactis’ Virtual Incentive Platform that connects companies and their customers through loyalty programs, digital offers and electronic coupons.

The combined companies are expected to continue to operate under their respective brands. The merger was facilitated through Transactis’ acquisition of Data Impact’s assets. Specific financial terms of the agreement are yet to be disclosed.

Transactis provides EBPP (Electronic Bill Presentment and Payment) tools designed to enable banks to electronically distribute invoices and collect payments.

In recent news, Data Impact has achieved re-certification for its EIPP product suite under the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS) program.
