TIO Networks launches Mobile Bill Pay App for utility company PG&E

Canadian multi-channel expedited bill payment processor TIO Networks has launched the Pacific Gas and Electric Company’s (PG&E) “mobile bill pay app”.

This mobile payment app provides up to six million PG&E customers in Northern and Central California with the ability to pay utility bills on an expedited basis using their iPhones and iOS devices.

The TIO mobile application is available for download from Apple’s app store. The TIO payment application features an interface on iOS powered devices for real-time access to a customer’s account balance. Payment can be made using Visa or Master Card-powered payment instruments or through customers’ bank accounts.

TIO Networks has announced its intention to expand the payment platform to include Android and Blackberry versions in the near future.
