US provider of document process automation services Esker has been selected by Spectrum Brands, a global consumer products company, in order to automate the latter’s processing of supplier invoices.

Under the deal, the Esker service is expected to be integrated with Spectrum Brands’ SAP system, in a bid to manage accounts payable processing for the company’s brands, such as Rayovac or Remington.

Esker delivers automated document processing as on-demand services (SaaS) and on-premise offerings. Founded in 1985, Esker serves over 80,000 customers globally. The company has global headquarters in France and the US.

In a recent development, Esker has entered an agreement with KONE Corporation, a France-based company active in the elevator and escalator industry to automate and outsource the sending of the latter’s customer invoices in France.
