Iron Mountain launches e-invoicing service

Tuesday 15 May 2012 00:34 CET | News

UK information management firm Iron Mountain has launched an e-invoicing service dubbed Iron Mountain Electronic Invoice which digitizes paper invoices and allows customers to manage bills via an online tool that automates AP (Accounts Payable) tasks.

The Iron Mountain Electronic Invoice service is powered by Corcentric’s COR360 cloud-based accounts payable workflow automation platform. The online workflow tool enables organisations to access, identify and share invoices that require further review. Organisations can also use their mobile devices to access the service.

The Iron Mountain Electronic Invoice service includes a virtual shared-service centre where customers can set up a P.O. box, managed by Iron Mountain, for their vendors and suppliers to send paper invoices for digitization. Invoices can also be sent through fax or via email.

The new invoice service also includes a cloud-based workflow automation feature that matches invoices to purchase orders and routes invoices for review and approval and a Reporting & Dashboard functionality.

Corcentric is a US provider of accounts payable automation services. Its COR360 workflow automation technology allows companies to control the management of their AP processes by setting up approval-based routing rules to enable the system to route invoices directly to the appropriate approver.

Iron Mountain was founded in 1951 as a provider of information storage and management services for organizations. The company manages information assets, including business records, electronic files, medical data and other.
