INTTRA launches INTTRA Change app

Wednesday 19 June 2013 11:17 CET | News

US-based e-commerce platform operator for ocean freight industry INTTRA has launched an application dubbed INTTRA Change.

INTTRA Change converts shipping data from a shipper’s existing reports or documents into the carrier required formats and submits them electronically directly to carriers. Any exceptions from validation cheques, as well as amendments or cancellations, are managed by the INTTRA Change platform, enabling customers to edit and re-submit transactions online. This capability eliminates back and forth emails or phone calls between carriers and shippers in order to process transactions. INTTRA Change also includes a multi-carrier shipment reporting functionality.

INTTRA’s current solutions connect ocean carriers and shippers on a global e-commerce network and enable standardized automation of critical functions such as user acquisition, shipment booking and management and freight settlement.

In recent news, INTTRA has entered into a multi-year agreement with United Arab Shipping Company (UASC) to extend INTTRA’s standardized e-commerce network to UASC customers.
