Global consultancy company Halcrow has completed the first-phase deployment of the procurement and purchase-to-pay technologies provided by UK-based spend control and e-procurement company Proactis.

The implementation has been executed across 23 UK-based offices and combines the functionality of Proactis Sourcing & Tenders, Supplier Management, Contract Management, Catalogue Management, Purchasing, Invoice Receipt & Matching and Employee Expenses, in a single, integrated platform. The company leveraged the Proactis web-browser architecture to implement a single instance procure-to-pay system allowing it to automate the processes that manage the receipt, matching and approval of supplier invoices and other payable items.

Halcrow plans to extend the Proactis service across its worldwide-located offices. Halcrow is a global consultancy company with 7,000 employees across 80 countries, specialising in planning, design and management services for infrastructure development.
