Estonian government agencies to switch to e-invoicing services

The Estonian Ministry of Finance and eInvoicing Centre, a subsidiary of the Estonian Post are expected to sign an agreement to provide local government agencies with e-invoicing services, media outlet postanparcel.info reports.

The same source has revealed that the first Estonian government bodies to be provided with e-invoicing services are the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Justice.

According to the source, the transition to the e-invoicing system is expected to be finalized by March 2011.

The agreement is set to be valid until 2013, the same source reports.
