PayPlum adds MiMS service to combat online fraud

US-based software development company PayPlum has introduced Man-in-the-Middle Secure or MiMS service to combat the growing threat of online theft and fraud.

By combining PayPlum’s Enterprise PCI software with MiMS, PayPlum lowers PCI scope and impacts a companys ability to cut down on fraud-related financial losses and lower the risk of a potential breach to its payment systems.

PayPlum Enterprise PCI with its patent pending messaging technology, helps web-present businesses prevent online fraud by isolating payment data capture and transport. PayPlums MiMS service monitors the health and security of the merchants entire e-commerce payment chain. MiMS provides actionable data to identify and prevent online fraud for payment transactions.

Each transaction handled by PayPlum generates inert metadata that is sent to the MiMS service. Using Big Data and predictive analytics, MiMS creates an intelligent mapping algorithm, or unique fingerprint, to expose man-in-the-middle attacks in merchant web servers.
