Intertech, a Turkish banking software development company, has entered an agreement with German IT-Security manufacturer Kobil.

Under the terms of the deal, Intertech will use and promote KOBIL solutions to secure online banking users.
Financial services provider DenizBank will be Intertechs first customer that will adopt KOBIL security solutions.

Intertech and DenizBank will integrate KOBIL Application Security Technology (AST) for secure mobile banking and 2-factor authentication on multi-channel banking. KOBILs AST is an enabling technology to work with digital certificates on all platforms (iOS, Android, Windows) and all types of devices (smartphones, tablets, PCs).

Intertech and DenizBank have also deployed KOBIL SecOPTIC as a replacement of Vasco one time password (OTP) tokens to counteract the latest man-in-the-browser attacks on end users computers. SecOPTIC is the new OTP technology which serves to safeguard the security of transaction data by signing what you see (WYSIWYS) on device display.

Intertech provides a range of information technology services to the finance industry and maintains its leadership position across Turkey and in the region. Since its inception in 1986, Kobil has been focusing on areas such as cryptography, smart card technology and PKI (Public Key Infrastructure, digital identities) as well as security for mobile platforms as Android or iPhone.
