In cooperation with the Dutch bank Rabobank, Identive will provide multi-use cashless payment cards for more than 100,000 visitors at Heineken House hospitality events. The contactless cards use Identives tomPAY near field communication (NFC) tag technology, which allows them to be used both as conventional cashless payment cards and as NFC payment stickers for mobile devices. The cards also are compatible with the Companys Multicard Cashless Betalen mobile payment service. Dutch Olympic visitors who obtain an Identive cashless payment card will be able to peel off the NFC tag, affix it to their mobile devices and download Cashless Betalen apps to enroll on their return home. Identive expects the total number of Cashless Betalen users to exceed 200,000 this summer.
