BankAnnapolis selects Trusteer for fraud prevention services

Thursday 11 October 2012 10:22 CET | News

Financial institution BankAnnapolis, a subsidiary of Annapolis Bancorp, has selected security services provider Trusteer for fraud prevention services.

Under the terms of the deal, BankAnnapolis will integrate Trusteer Rapport for online banking to protect both commercial and consumer accounts from malware and phishing attacks that target user devices used to access online accounts and perform ACH transactions.

Founded 22 years ago, BankAnnapolis is a federally insured community bank with almost USD 440 million in assets. The bank provides commercial and retail banking through eight offices in the US.

Trusteer Rapport provides fraud fighting tools which can prevent malware from exploiting browser and add-on vulnerabilities, installing itself on a device, capturing credentials and personal information entered in the browser and initiating fraudulent transactions or tampering with in-process transactions.
