Google Now adds Coinbase support

Monday 2 February 2015 08:57 CET | News

Google Now, Google’s mobile on-demand information service, has added support for Bitcoin services provider Coinbase.

The launch included 40 cards, each based on a company or internet service such as Airbnb, Pandora and Coinbase.

Coinbase’s card will specifically notify Google Now users when there are fluctuations in the price of Bitcoin, while Airbnb’s will suggest travel information. Google Now becomes the latest Google service that supports Bitcoin-related functionality, following its decision to add Bitcoin prices to its search engine this summer.
