Yes Bank and JP Morgan team up for Visa prepaid travel cards in India

Private sector Indian financial institution Yes Bank and global financial services provider JP Morgan signed a strategic agreement to launch Visas US$ prepaid travel card in India. The new card is to be hosted on a technology platform supported by JP Morgan and distributed in Yes Banks over 100 Indian branches.

Yes Bank is aiming to present the Visa US$ prepaid travel card as an alternative to travellers’ cheques and foreign currency,  allowing users to pay for their purchases in India, Nepal and Bhutan. The card can also be used for ATM cash withdrawals in the local currency at all ATMs which accept Visa.
