Luxembourg-based processor of card-based payments SIX Card Solutions has entered an agreement with international data communications company Transaction Network Services (TNS) to provide merchants with access to multiple acquirers across Europe via one connection to the Secure Payments Network powered by TNS.

As part of the agreement, SIX Card Solutions will benefit from the TNS managed payment network service for the hospitality and car parking elements of its business to enable the company to leverage its payment-related connectivity by replacing multiple local European suppliers with just one connection provided by TNS. Furthermore, SIX Card Solutions payment transactions will be carried out via TNS’ PCI-certified Secure Payments Network.

Via its TNSPay payment gateway services and its payment network connectivity services, TNS enables merchants and payment service providers to connect with banks, acquirers and processors. The TNS-operated payments gateway accepts and processes several cards globally, provides multi-currency support for foreign currencies processing and offers connectivity to various Australian and global acquiring institutions. TNS activates in more than 40 countries across North and Latin America, Europe as well as Asia Pacific.
