Under terms of the agreement, SCsquare will be able to meet the increased customer demand for biometrics, by offering their customers the advantages of Precise Biometrics technology for fingerprint matching on smart cards, Precise Match-on-Card, together with their card operating system, Apollo OS, and their PC software suite. Precise Match-on-Card makes it possible to store and match fingerprints directly on the smart card. This means increased security while preserving privacy, as the user never needs to feel concerned that their fingerprint could be stolen or abused because it is never kept in a database beyond the individuals control. Precise Match-on-Card is especially suitable for corporate ID cards, national ID cards and bank cards.
