Polish payment processing company Trevica has launched the WAY4 payment processing framework from OpenWay, a Belgium-based payment processing software vendor.

With the launch, Trevica is planning to enter the Polish Card market. Founded in 2008, the company offers its services to banks and financial institutions that wish to issue cards or acquire transactions in ATM and PoS networks without building their own infrastructure.

Trevica offers full life cycle of card issuing processing including account and card record maintenance, authorization and settlement, credit card account management, transaction switching, fraud and dispute management. These services are supported for several types of card technologies, including magnetic stripe card, EMV, contactless, virtual, paper voucher and other.

OpenWay’s WAY4 system targets banks, processing companies and telecom operators, allowing them to create card and account-based debit and credit products and loyalty programs, manage ATMs, PoS terminals, kiosks, as well as web, mobile and other delivery channels.

The WAY4 payment processing framework is SEPA-compliant and is certified by MasterCard, Visa, US-based financial services company American Express, credit card brand Diners Club, Japanese payment services provider JCB and Chinese bankcard association ChinaUnionPay.
