The one-year contract calls for Oberthur Card Systems to provide ICBC with EMV global platform products as well as technical and consulting services. Recognized as China’s leading innovator in card technology, ICBC will become the first Bank to issue EMV cards. This project marks the beginning of the long awaited migration to EMV of Chinese Banks.
