Tuesday 15 December 2020 08:47 CET | News

Nigeria-based digital payments company Interswitch Group has partnered with Kenya-based Credit Bank to launch a multi-currency prepaid card.

The card is aimed at providing consumers with an alternative banking card that enables users to make electronic transactions. In order to use the card, customers do not require a bank account as funds can be transferred via mobile money. The card is on the Visa network, allowing users to make transactions such as payments and ATM withdrawals worldwide.

Interswitch’s browser-based card management, issuing, and transaction processing system enables the issuance and management of multi-currency prepaid card offerings by banks, retailers, corporations, and other financial institutions that issue prepaid cards.
