Through this adherence, INSIDE intends to participate in different working groups in order to take an active position in the NFC standard evolution, definition of security schemes, products interoperability testing rules and identification of applications for NFC. One of INSIDEs key objectives is to have the Forum adopt the ISO 14443B and ISO 15693 standards at the same level as the presently adopted ISO 14443A and FeliCaT, elevating NFC to INSIDEs eNFC, Enhanced NFC technology, offered on its PicoReadT reader IC and MicroReadT microprocessor chips compliant with all contactless standards. Such an adoption is necessary for global technology proliferation and compatibility with the existing applications.
