INSIDE Contactless has been chosen by Dental@x, to provide specific PicoPass tags and cards, as well as a broad range of readers to offer the best tracing system truly dedicated to dental prosthesis laboratories.

Undergoing considerable pressure, it was becoming imperative for Health Establishments to find a way to ensure their patients health safety via a regulative method. Amongst those Establishments, the laboratories manufacturing dental prosthesis found with Dental@xs tracing system an answer to all the imposed requirements . The proposed system now ensures the quality of the products and a perfect material tracing in accordance with the new European sanitary regulations, while offering an undeniable convenience & ease of use day after day, year after year... The system starts at the dentists office when the doctor defines the specification of the future patient dental prosthesis. The specification file and patients data (prescriptions) are being securely coded onto the PicoPass chip embedded in the teeths mold with the help of Accesso, INSIDEs plug & play contactless reader. Further to that procedure and thanks to the same software, the combined elements stored in the chip for a specific patient will allow to retrace his/her historics and to easily identify and avoid the causes of some potential problems in the upcoming prothesis manufacturing process. Once the intelligent teeth mold is sent to the prosthesis laboratory, the PicoPass tag with the prescription is read, delivering all the necessary specifications. At every stage of the prothesis manufacturing process, data are recording the tracing details such as: resin used, color per tooth, resin/ceramics lot number, manufacturing date… to allow a compatible post-modification in case of breackage… . PicoPass™ is the ideal memory chip for this application thanks to its large memory capacity (16KS), and its security. The laboratory is now able to know exactly what, when, how and where are used the different raw material. In addition, prosthesis and molds can be tracked for inventory or verification with a mobile terminal (Hand’IT-2G) at any time in the process. Once the manufacturing cycle has been completed, PicoPass is being read one last time before all data are being sealing off to issue the certificate of authenticity. At this point the client has the possibility to receive either a contactless smart card with all the charts or a certificate with an affixed tag serving the same purpose of the card, to keep a detailed tracing of the patient’s information.
