i2c extends My Card Place platform on three continents

US prepaid and payment processing services provider i2c has extended its processing platform My Card Place (MCP) throughout three continents, namely Europe, Africa and the US.

My Card Place (MCP) enables card issuers and program managers to launch and manage prepaid card programs.

In Europe, MCP will be used by a Swedish payment acquirer servicing banks and merchants to manage prepaid payroll programs. In Central America, a bank card and merchant services provider has rolled out a program to introduce prepaid cards to credit union consumers throughout the Caribbean. An African ATM and prepaid card processor has partnered with i2c to upgrade its processing technology which leverages prepaid programs in South Africa. In Brazil, a consumer financial services company uses MCP to issue prepaid travel cards to consumers throughout South America.

Via its services, cardholder communication tools and analytics, i2c MCP provides customers with the ability of building a cardholder base, of launching new products and programs for specific segments.
