Dena Bank, State Bank of India to launch new credit card

India-based Dena Bank has partnered with State Bank of India to introduce a new credit card. The project is to enter its final stage by October 2008, when the two parties will have completed all formalities.

The new card will display the logos of both Dena and State Bank of India. Dena Bank has 1,165 branches and 325 ATMs. The State Bank of India has an asset base of USD 126 billion and is ranked at 380 in 2008 Fortune Global 500 list, a ranking of the top 500 corporations worldwide as measured by revenue.
