Cleva launches card to be used in the care industry

Monday 1 November 2021 09:06 CET | News

UK-based fintech Cleva has launched a payment system destined for home care agencies to deliver an easy way for carers to shop for their clients.

Powered by Mastercard, Cleva allows its users to handle all expenses for people under their care with the use of a single card. The new integrated system and app links only one card to multiple e-wallets for multiple clients, so that carers could deliver transparency in payments for those under their care and their families.

With the help of a single prepaid debit card linked to the digital wallets of several clients, Cleva represents a time micromanagement alternative for agencies and people working in the care industry.

The prepaid debit card can be topped-up with funds in real time, while the security features include various payment restrictions to ensure full transparency when managing clients’ funds. Thus, Cleva provides full oversight of the card usage by the caring agency, client, and their families.

According to company representatives, the app was specifically developed for the care sector and can be used forth both online and offline payments almost everywhere where Mastercard is a valid payment method. All transactions are recorded into Cleva’s management system to reduce administrative and reconciliation times.
